For 17 years, Equity Builders, Inc has been serving San Diego as a full service Design/Build General Contracting Company, specializing in commercial tenant improvement projects finding our stride in restaurants and bars, along with high-end residential custom homes, renovations and additions.
Whether it is from pre-construction services, full design package and build-out, or bidding and constructing a pre-drafted set of plans, we aim to take our clients from wherever they are to where they want to be.
Equity Builders, Inc strives to find ways to add value to the project through 3D rendering, management efficiency and sometimes project specific design enhancing elements. Our attention to detail while simultaneously not losing sight of the larger picture showcase our commitment to quality and carry our clients’ vision through project execution.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Our focus is always on delivering the best possible service to our clients, much of that is typically missed on the front end of project. Our clients get us involved early on in their design processes. This allows us to offer expert advice and share a wealth of knowledge from our vast experience. Often, we can collectively identify potential roadblocks, provide solutions, and better prepare our clients expectations throughout the process.
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
We are a Class-A, General Contractor - with a primary focus on commercial tenant improvements, restaurants & bars, and higher-end residential projects. Internally, we have a full design studio, woodshop, metal fabrication shop, and construction crews to suite most projects that come our way.
CUSTOM FABRICATION
Experienced craftsmanship paired with prototyping in both 3D virtual modeling and fabricated mock-ups, allow our clients to think outside the box for almost any component. From light fixtures, furniture, kinetic elements, fire & water features, to one-of-a-kind displays, we have the ability to bring it to life.
DESIGN/BUILD
We take a project from wherever it is, to where it needs to be. Whether we're filling in design gaps for an incomplete set of design drawings, or producing a full design set ourselves, our clients value the ability to virtually "walk" their project during the estimating & pre-construction, in a high-definition rendered 3D model. A unique advantage for our clients that limits potential oversight or design busts early in the process.
